Carolyn Furrow In Loving Memory of Carolyn Sue Furrow 1/14/1944 ~ 3/19/2005

This is my Mom, Carolyn. She survived an extremely abusive marriage, raised 3 girls alone and worked for the Dept of Human Services for 30 years. After she retired she decided to go to college, her life long dream. My Mom was one semester away from a degree in psychiatry. She made straight A's and worked hard. My Mom had a bad back and lugging the books all over campus made it worse. It had been broken many times through some awful beatings she took from my dad. My Mom was in severe pain and had been taking Lortabs 5 mg, three times a day for some time and it was getting worse. On Wednesday she went to the ER in excruciating pain and he said 'what is wrong with you now?' The dr gave her a shot and wrote an order for Methadone 10 mg, 4 times a day. She got the script filled on Thursday and Saturday March 19th, 2005 my sister called to tell me that her 2 sons who spent the night with Grandma found her on the floor in the living room. She was dead. I bigger whole I have never felt. My soul is ripped and now 3 years later I am still raw to the bone with pain. This is my Mom Carolyn Sue Furrow 1-14-1944 to 3-19-2005. She was only 61.
