My mother Faith suddenly left our lives on August 27th 2004. My mom was a beautiful ,smart and caring woman she loved everyone around her. My mom loved me and my kids so much. They made her smile, and laugh like a grandmother should. But on August 27th 2004 all of that was taken from us when she passed from a methadone overdose. My mom was on methadone of over a year prescribed by a Dr at UVA hospital in Virginia. The Dr's were treating her for back pain and addiction to other pain killers. When Faith started taking the methadone I saw a huge difference in the way she acted and her looks even changed. It was hard to see the one you love fall apart. I was very worried about her addition. But her husband at the time assured me that everything was okay. I guess it really wasn't , because I still would have my beautiful mother today. My mom is deeply missed, I will never forget her beautiful and amazing smile and her gentle touch. I miss her so very much.. In loving memory of Faith Ilene Papirnik .
